Jackie Ellen (Hand) Stripling

Mrs. Jackie Ellen Hand Stripling, 73, of Tifton passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2021 at Navicent Health Medical Center of Macon.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 12, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Chula with Rev. Larry Layfield and Rev. Aaron Frasier officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Albritton Funeral Directors.

Keith Dees, John Stripling, Austin Rutland, Brian Hand, Russ Hand and Brian Giddens will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Stripling was born April 7, 1948 in Montezuma, Georgia to the late Carey Jackson Hand and Erma Ruth McElmurray Hand. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Ronnie Hand and Danny Hand. Mrs. Stripling attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Chula and was retired from Heatcraft. She had lived most of her adult life in Tift County. Jackie was happiest when she was near her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was very proud of her twenty-six-year career with Heatcraft. Jackie enjoyed traveling especially to Pigeon Forge with her husband. She also enjoyed taking trips with her sisters and sisters-in-law. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed family get togethers.

Mrs. Stripling is survived by her husband Randy Howard Stripling of Tifton , to whom she was married for forty-three years; her daughter and son-in-law, Yvette and Lance Farris of Ocilla; her son, Dean Spillers of Statesboro; nine grandchildren, Tyler Spillers, Jackson Spillers, Keili Sinclair, Carey Irwin, Maran Clark, Dax Irwin, Logan Farris, Kaleb Farris and Delilah Farris; ten great grandchildren; her brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Brenda Hand of TyTy; her two sisters, Carolyn Burch and Margie Whittington both of Tifton and her sister-in-law, Annie Ruth Hand of Athens.
