Mrs. Hilda Jacqueline “Jackie” Williams Pearman, 77, of Tifton passed away at Tift Regional Medical Center on Friday, January 14, 2022.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 17, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Tift Memorial Gardens with Rev. Mike Bennett and Rev. Rodney Owens officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
Doug McCluskey, Brian Curry, Josh Curry, Guy Williams, Derick Snow and Kevin Williams who are her nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Pearman was born July 5, 1944, in Berrien County to the late Calvin Williams and Aurelia Richardson Williams. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her three infant siblings, three sisters; Imogene Rogers, Wanda Sue Snow, and Beverly Davis and her three brothers; Preston Williams, Ronald Williams, and Wycliff Williams. Jackie had lived most of her adult life in Tift County. She was very proud of her long banking employment and finished her career as a Loan Teller for South Georgia Banking Company She was a member of Ty Ty First Baptist Church and as a woman of faith she read her Bible and instilled the Christian values in her family. She loved her family and was an excellent wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family described her as a selfless southern lady who felt her duty was to be a caretaker for all her friends and family. She enjoyed gardening and being outside with her husband to whom she was deeply devoted to and shared every walk in her life with.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years; Howard Richard Pearman, two daughters and son-in-law; Tammy Fowler and her significant other, Jamie McLean of Tifton, and Melanie and Travis Hall of Tifton, four grandchildren; Erin and D. J. Poole, Brayden Fowler, Clark Hall and Kenna Hall, two sisters and brother-in-law; Linda and Robert Curry and Faye McCluskey all of West Berrien, two brothers and sister-in-law; Vernon and Geneva Williams of Enigma and Billy Williams and his significant other Lucille Richardson along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews who she loved and cherished very much.
