Helen Rich Stanford, 77, of Tifton, died Monday, January 23, 2017.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Oakridge Cemetery with Pastor Gary Stanford officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the funeral home.
Zach Hutto, Dean Wise, John Jarrell, Chris Collins, and Troup Kirkus will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Stanford was born on October 31, 1939 in Tattnall County to the late Charlie George Rich and Reba Powell Rich. She was married to Bobby John Stanford. Mrs. Stanford enjoyed knitting, crocheting, fishing, gardening, and reading her bible. She loved her family and the purpose of her life was caring for them.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Stanford is survived by two sons, Donald F. Jones Jr. and Ronnie Keith Jones, both of Tifton; two daughters, Kathy Denise Jones of Metter, GA and Tracy Lyn Jones McGee and Stephen of Tifton, one stepson, Gary L. Stanford and Dana of Ailey, GA; four sisters, Doris R. Holcombe of Dawsonville, Janice R Loyd of Ellabell, GA, Judy R. Howell and Alex of Cordele, and Sarah R Jones of Reidsville; one brother, Charles Rich of Gainesville, GA, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
The family will be meeting at the residence of Donald Jones, 1401 Newton Drive Apt G24, Tifton, Georgia.
