Harry Theron Cornwall, 83, of Tifton, died Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at his residence.

Mr. Cornwall was born on October 01, 1932 in Chicago Ill. to the late Victor and Thelma Rowland Cornwall. He was married to Josephine Carr Cornwall for 62 years.
After 20 years of service, Mr. Cornwall retired from the U.S. Navy in 1968 as a Chief Petty Officer. He enjoyed the Navy very much but was happy to retire. Shortly after his retirement from the Navy, Mr. Cornwall worked for the Volusia County School Board of Education where he chaired the Department of Audio-Visual Services. Later he opened his own business, Cornwall’s Audio-Visual, working as an Audio-Visual repair technician.
Mr. Cornwall was an avid amateur radio operator. He enjoyed communicating with his friends via e-mail and working in and mowing his yard.
In addition to his wife, Josephine Cornwall, Mr. Cornwall is survived by two sons; Michael Cornwall of Green Cove Springs, Fl, and Mitchell Cornwall of Haines City, Fl, one brother; James Cornwall of Ormond Beach, Fl and three grandchildren; Dalton Cornwall, Brit Cornwall and Anthony Cornwall.
Mr. Cornwall was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
