Mr. Hardy Andrew Tomberlin, 61, of Fitzgerald passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at his residence.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Tomberlin was born November 2, 1956 in Ben Hill County to Mrs. Bobbie Fussell Tomberlin of Ty Ty and the late Joseph Andrew Tomberlin of Fitzgerald. Mr. Tomberlin was a Veteran of United States Army and of Baptist Faith. He was an Oil Field Technician. He lived most of his life in Ben Hill County other than ten years he lived in Alaska working on the pipe line and in the oil fields. He loved to fish and was always ready to help others in need. He took care of his neighbor when he was diagnosed with cancer. A song to sum up his life would be “I did it my way”.
In addition to his Mother, he is survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Jean and Henry Wnek of Tifton, JoAnn and Billy Brannen of Tifton; two brothers and sister-in-law, George and Lisa Tomberlin of Lenox and Joey Tomberlin of Ty Ty; nephews, Jake and Darah Wells and their children, Owen and Gray; David Tomberlin and his children, Abby and Hazel; Jesse Tomberlin, Billy Joe and Melissa Brannen and their children, Walker and Haley; Colt Tomberlin; nieces, Melana and David Bass and their children, Sydney and Bella Kate; Jaye and Michael Spradley and their children, Drew and wife Kelsey and Jaci; LeighAnn and Josh Reynolds and their children, Jackson and Jase.
