Born on January 6, 1947, in Tifton, Georgia, Gerald was a man of integrity and unwavering loyalty. He served his country with honor as a veteran of the United States Navy during the Vietnam War embarking on a career that would touch the lives of many. After retiring from the UGA Experiment Station as the custodian supervisor of the Labs, Gerald continued to impact those around him with his kindness and dedication.
During his lifetime, Gerald forged lasting friendships that stood the test of time. His warm personality and genuine nature earned him a special place in the hearts of all who knew him. He was known for his honesty, reliability, and unwavering support for those in need. Whether in Tallahassee, Florida where he resided for forty-two years or in Tifton where he spent thirty years, Gerald's presence brought light and joy to those around him.
In his passing, Gerald leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will be carried on by those who were fortunate enough to have known him. He is survived by his brothers Larry Kendrick of Tallahassee, Florida, and Mike Kendrick of Charlotte, North Carolina. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will live on in the memories shared by family and friends.
