Gary Dean Hyde

Mr. Gary Dean Hyde, 69, of Tifton died Saturday, October 22, 2022 at his residence.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 26, 2022 in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Home.  Reverend Jimmy Hinson will officiate and his daughters delivering the eulogies. The burial to follow at Oakey Grove Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Home.

Dalon Dotson, Justin Dotson, Brad Dotson, Matt Davis, Casey Marshall, and Chance Myers will serve as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers will be Hilton Burgess, Terry Butler, Orrin Deason, Carl Gay, Chipper Glenn, Travis Hurst, Keith Kendrick, David Lairsey, Johnny White, Steven Williford, Jimmy Woods and Jonathan Ross.

Mr. Hyde was born on February 3, 1953 in Tift County and was the son of the late William C. (Charlie) and Mary Ruth Dotson Hyde.

Mr. Hyde grew up and lived in Tifton all his life and was a graduate of Tift County High School.  He was the owner of Hyde Construction where he worked until his death.  He loved the work he did and valued the life-long relationships he developed along the way.  Mr. Hyde enjoyed working, spending time with his friends, traveling, Nascar Racing, and cooking for family, friends, and neighbors.  Mr. Hyde was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather.  He loved his family very much, and he will be sorely missed.

Mr. Hyde is survived by his wife Donnis Williams Hyde of Tifton, two daughters and sons-in-law, Kandy and Tommy Paulk and Brandy and Tim Hobbs, and three grandchildren, Dylan, Dalton, and Kate Marie Hobbs all of Tifton. He is also survived by a very special aunt and uncle, William and Betty Dotson.

The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Hancock and his staff for all the many years of excellent care.
