Frances Virginia (Perry) Fowler

Mrs. Frances Virginia Perry Fowler, 89, of Tifton, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Southern Oaks Personal Care Home of Tifton.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Oakridge Cemetery with Rev. Jay Kimbro officiating.

Collin Maye, Elisha Maye, Staten Maye, Daniel Cranfill, John Fowler and Josiah Fowler will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Keith Stone.

Mrs. Fowler was born May 7, 1933 in Crisp County to the late Alvin Jackson Perry and Christine Martin Perry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry “Dub” Fowler, her sisters. Eunice Johnson and Janice Ray and her brothers, Tommy Perry and Wayne Perry. She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Oris Stone. Mrs. Fowler was a member of Tifton Missionary Baptist Church. She loved to cook, sew and anything to keep the house up. Mrs. Fowler loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Mrs. Fowler is survived by her children, Jane Stone of Tifton, Steve and Julie Fowler of McDonough, Georgia and Tony and Marilyn Fowler of Biloxi, Mississippi; her grandchildren, Keith Stone of Tifton, Sherri and Staten Maye of Tifton, Hannah and Daniel Cranfill of Marietta, Georgia, John and Andrea Fowler of Lynchburg, Virginia and Josiah Fowler of McDonough, Georgia; her great grandchildren, Collin Maye, Elisha Maye and Jaidyn Maye; her sisters, Brenda Stone and Sue Guess both of Tifton. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
