Eula Bryant Lewis, 93, of Tifton passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at her residence.
A private graveside memorial service will be held at Oakridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Lewis was born July 5, 1924 in Dooly County, Georgia to the late Oscar S. Bryant, Sr., and Enzie Lay Bryant. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Fenton W. Nash, Sr., and she is survived by her husband, Hugh N. Lewis to whom she was married for sixty-five years. In addition to her parents and first husband, she is preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. Mrs. Lewis was a member of First United Methodist Church of Tifton and had lived in Tifton most of her life. She was a homemaker and formerly very active in her church in Sunday School and working with young people in the nursery. She enjoyed cooking and working in her yards. Mrs. Lewis did knitting for the Red Cross during WWII. She was very devoted to her family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Fenton W. “Freddy” and Lenora Nash, Jr., of Albany; one grandson, Fenton W. and Dana Lee Nash, III of Leesburg; several nieces and nephews.
