Emma Jean (Shealey) Davidson

Mrs. Emma Jean Shealey Davidson, 95, of Adel, formerly of Tifton passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at Cook Senior Living Center in Adel, Georgia.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Rev. Allen Mullis officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 26, 2019, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mrs. Davidson was born May 4, 1924 in Tift County to the late Hawley Alton Shealey and Mary Jane Gill Yawn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Sorenson Davidson who died 2001, her son Duane Allen Harper, several brothers and sisters. Mrs. Davidson was a homemaker and of Methodist faith. She worked at Jacksonville Naval Air Station and Moody Field during WWII. Mrs. Davidson loved her Lord and her family. She enjoyed traveling especially to the mountains.

Mrs. Davidson is survived by one daughter, Gail Kelly of Tifton; one brother and sister-in-law James and Ann Shealey of Springfield, Virginia; one sister Mae Williams of Jacksonville; three grandchildren, Mikel and Kellie McMillan, Darius McMillan and David McMillan.
