Eleanor (Hall) Moore

Mrs. Eleanor Hall Moore, 91, of Tifton, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Tift Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at Stevens Funeral Home in Pulaski, Virginia at a later date.

Mrs. Moore was born February 7, 1929 in Pulaski, Virginia to the late Bassett K. Hall and Allena Smith Hall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Moore, Sr., her son, Samuel Martin Moore and her two sisters, Elizabeth Lundy and Jeanne Bernard. Mrs. Moore was a member of United Methodist Women Club, National PTA, Navy Wives Club and Beta Sigma Phi. She was a Caterer.

Mrs. Moore is survived by her sons, James K. Collins of Moneta, VA., and William “Bill” Moore, Jr., and Kelly of Ocilla; her daughters, Debra McPherson of Williamsburg, VA., and Marilyn Poirier of Flagstaff, AZ., her grandchildren, Krista Collins, Brian McPherson, Jacob Eavis, Karie Johannes and Aaron Moore and nine great grandchildren.
