Eleanor F. Harvey, 95, of Tifton died Thursday, June 09, 2016 at the Rehab Center of South Georgia in Tifton.
Graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Oakridge Cemetery with the Rev. David Folsom officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the cemetery before the service.
Mrs. Harvey was born in Berrien County on March 02, 1921 to the late Henry and Annie Folsom. She was married to the late Pete Harvey in 1936. Mrs. Harvey was a lifelong resident of Tifton and an active member of the First Presbyterian Church until she began to lose her sight. She was an excellent seamstress and often won Garden of the Month, as a result of her love for gardening.
Mrs. Harvey is survived by her two daughters, Carol Pope of Lawton,Ok and Betsy Webb of Tifton, one sister, Ann Shoulders; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren, one of which is deceased and two great great grandchildren.
