Demetrio "Moro" Reyes

Mr. Demetrio “Moro” Reyes, 58, of Omega, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Tift Regional Medical Center.

The family will conduct a memorial service at a later date.

Mr. Reyes was born November 29, 1961 in San Juan Lachao, Juquila Oaxaca, Mexico to the late Margarito Reyes and Blandina Jimenez. He attended Our Divine Saviour Catholic. Mr. Reyes was an agricultural worker for Ponder Farms of Omega. Moro had lived in Omega for eighteen years and was a hard worker for Ponder Farms. His supervisor, Chris Ponder describes him as a trustworthy and loyal friend and employee. Mr. Reyes loved the outdoors especially fishing. He loved to play the lottery and he was always lucky. Moro was a friend to many and was always ready to help those in need.

Mr. Reyes is survived by his wife, Celiflora Salinas Jimenes of Mexico; his children, Angelica Reyes Salinas, Ana Reyes Salinas, Nansi Reyes Salinas, Viani Vizalua Reyes Salinas and Heder Reyes Salinas; his two sister, Angela Reyes Jimenez and Yolanda Reyes Jimenez and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
