David Irvin Webster

Tifton -  David Irvin Webster, 78 of Tifton died on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Tift Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors on Friday, December 21, 2018 at 6:00 P. M. with the Rev. Dan Eidson officiating.   The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until the time of the service.

Mr. Webster was the son of the late Irvin Pope Webster and Grace White Webster and was born on March 12, 1940 in Dunedin, Florida.  Along with his parents and a sister, he was preceded in death by his wife of thirty-seven years, Barbara Gleason Webster, who died in 2007.  Mr. Webster was a veteran of the United States Army, then retired from the Kingsland Naval Base as a welder.  He had lived in Tifton since 2009.  He loved to fish, cut grass, plant flowers and tinker in his garage.  He was always a happy person who loved having a good time.  He loved his family especially his three grandchildren and his four great grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughter and son - in - law Dawn and Mike Willaford of Tifton, three grandchildren; Dillon Driggers, Codi Willaford, and Kassadi Cleghorn and Corey, four great grandchildren; Hunter Furlong, Dalton Aultman, Jillian Driggers, and Landon Cone, one brother; Ricky Webster of Wisconsin.
