Christine Perkins Beggs McAllister, passed away on April 14, 2025, at Tift Regional Medical Center. She was 94 years of age being born on September 11, 1930, in Moultrie, Colquitt County, Georgia.

At her request, she is being cremated and her cremains will be buried at a later date at Tift Memorial Gardens at a private memorial service.

Christine graduated from Vashti All Girls Boarding School in Thomasville, Georgia, where her spirit and determination began to take shape. Throughout her life, she balanced her responsibilities as a devoted homemaker and mother to her four children, serving as a steadfast caretaker for her disabled son for over thirty years at her home. She was a very strong and determined woman. Christine was also known to take on the role of waitress at various times, primarily on military bases, where her cheerful demeanor and conscientious work ethic left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of her company.

Christine's life was one marked by unwavering dedication to her family and an infectious zest for life. Her outlook on life was one of adventure; she believed that each day offered a new opportunity for learning and growth. Her warmth, diligence, and courteous nature endeared her to many, making her a beloved figure in her community.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Sandra L. Brunson; her son, Dennis J. Beggs and his wife Scarlet; her granddaughter, Shaunna Key, and her husband, Seth Key; along with her grandsons, Michael Beggs and J. M. Beggs. Christine's legacy of kindness and resilience will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.

Christine was preceded in death by her husband, Bernice A. McAllister; her sons, Donald Ray Beggs and David Glenn Beggs; her son-in-law Andy Brunson, her sister, Dorothy Hale and her parents, C. B. Perkins and Mae King Blair.

While her presence will be profoundly missed, the values of love, kindness, and adventure that she instilled in her family will continue to inspire future generations.
