Mrs. Charline Gilbert Faulkner, 83, of Enigma passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at her residence.
The family will receive friends Thursday, December 9, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Albritton Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Faulkner was born May 13, 1938 in Aly, Arkansas to the late Jack Gilbert and Charles Dotson Gilbert. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Robert Faulkner, her first husband, William “Bill” Hiram Wilson, Sr., two sisters, Joyce Brown and Ruby Davis and her brother Kenny Gilbert. Mrs. Faulkner was a veteran of the United States Air Force. She was a graduate of ABAC where she studied nursing and began her work as a Registered Nurse. Mrs. Faulkner was proud of her career in nursing which spanned over forty years. During this time, she worked for many years at Tift General Hospital and then later Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. Charline loved arts and crafts especially quilting, crocheting, sewing and making scrap books. She was an avid reader. Among her past times was watching “MASH”, and science fiction movies. She loved her family especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Faulkner is survived by her daughter, Junetta Wilson Watson of Enigma; her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Belinda Wilson of Tifton; three grandchildren, Heather and Christopher Scarbor, Katelyn Wilson and Sadie Wilson; two great grandchildren, Henry Scarbor and Oliver Scarbor and her sister and brother-in-law, Jackie and Don Stober of Texas.
