Charles Randall Plair

TIFTON-Charles Randall Plair, 63, of Tifton, died Monday, February 22, 2016, at Tift Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, February 26, 2016, in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Pastor Allen Brock officiating.  Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Sycamore, GA.  Family members will serve as pallbearers.  The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M., Thursday, February 25, 2016, at Albritton Funeral Directors.

Mr. Plair was born November 2, 1952, in Irwin County to Sam Thomas Plair and Nellie Gwynelle Smith Plair, both of whom preceded him in death.  He was also preceded in death by several brothers and one sister.

Mr. Plair attended Irwin County Schools and was employed by Shaw Industries.  He was an avid fisherman.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, working in his yard, eating out, and he loved going to church.  Mr. Plair was a member of First Apostolic Pentecostal Church, Sycamore, GA.

Mr. Plair is survived by his wife, Linda Wood Plair; one son and one daughter-in-law, Randall and Cherry Plair of Ocilla; one sister and one brother-in-law, Martha and Steve Wood of Tifton;  two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Otis and Debbie Plair of Tifton and Thomas and Betty Plair of Enigma; and one grandson, Blake Plair.
