Charles Bernard Clyatt

Charles Bernard Clyatt of Tifton passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Tift Regional Medical Center.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 5th at Oakridge Cemetery with Rev. Tim Morgan officiating.  The family will receive friends following the graveside service at the cemetery.

Mr. Clyatt was born March 20, 1936, in Turner County to the late Lott W. Clyatt and Celestia Cromer Clyatt.  He was a member of Inaha Baptist Church and had lived in Tifton most of his life where he attended the Chula School.  After his mother died, he became part of his sister and brother-in-law’s home in Tifton.  He was always included in their activities.  He loved watching television especially sports, reading and being with people.

He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Betty and Sonny Edmonson of Tifton and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by an infant brother.
