Brenda Sue Hendrickson

Brenda Sue Butler Hendrickson, 70, of Irwin County, formerly of Tifton passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024, after a life filled with warmth, laughter, and cherished memories.

A private graveside memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Oakridge Cemetery. Brenda was born July 3, 1954 to the late Curtis Butler and Mary Cason Butler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Holloway. Each of these family members held a special place in her heart, and their memories will continue to inspire those who knew her.

Brenda attended Tift County High School. Throughout her life, she developed a keen interest in thrift shopping and relished the simple pleasure of trips to the beach. Her love for nature and adventure was beautifully complemented by her devotion to her dog, Molly, who brought her endless joy and companionship.

Family was the cornerstone of Brenda's life. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Shannon Thompson of Irwin County, her granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Carson and Connor Dobes, along with her grandson Cason Thompson and her brother, Larry Butler of Irwin County, Georgia

Brenda Sue Hendrickson will be fondly remembered for her gentle spirit, commitment to her family, and her ability to find beauty in life's simple moments.
