Brenda Rhonda (Reaves) Carelock

Mrs. Brenda Rhonda Reaves Carelock, 69. of Georgetown formerly of Tifton passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022 in Georgetown, Georgia.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Rev. Joey Copeland officiating. Interment will follow at Oakridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. at the funeral home before the service.

Jimmy Cravey, Christopher Cravey, Adam Hayth   and Alex Cravey who are all nephews of Mrs. Carelock will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Carelock was born May 28, 1952 in LaGrange, Georgia to the late Shellie Reaves and Nellie Liza Smith Reaves. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her five brothers, J. D. Reaves, Jack Reaves, John Taylor Reaves, Jerry Reaves and Frankie Reaves, her two sisters, Jane Mageline Reaves Deberry and Donna Sue Reaves along with her husband, Wakely Aubrey Carelock who died October 24, 2007.

She was retired from Lowe’s as an Interior Decorator. Mrs. Carelock enjoyed gardening, fishing, decorating and spending time with her sisters shopping. She also loved spending time at Lake Eufaula.

Mrs. Carelock is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Melissa Carelock Goebeler and her husband Jeff of Jacksonville, Florida; her grandchildren, Brock Goebeler and Joslyn Goebeler; her sisters, Barbara Ann Walker, Jeanette Kitchens, Carolyn Griner and Mary Nell Graham. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
