Bertie "Cloise" Hancock Peters of Lenox, Georgia passed away on Monday, October 23, 2017 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Rev. Stephen Norris officiating. Interment will follow at Oakridge cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, October 24th from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Peters grandsons, Rhett Hayman, Dean Peters, Bruce Eubanks, Michael Mullis, Clinton Eubanks, Robbie Eubanks will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Peters was born on April 19, 1941 to the late Ethridge Cauley Hancock and Bertha Oralene Conger Hancock. She was married to the late Emory LaVerne Peters who died in January, 2016. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, fishing, reading her bible and taking care of grandchildren.
Mrs. Peters is survived by one son, Christopher Robley Peters of Lagrange; four daughters and sons-in-law, LaVerne and Steve Webb of Buckhead, Tracey Leona Blanton of Tifton, Gennise and Fredrick Baldree of Lenox, Melissa Peters and Sam Craven of Tift County; thirteen grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
