Mrs. Audrey Sumner Crownover, 83, of TyTy, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 31, 2022 at First Baptist Church of TyTy with Rev. Jim Duggan officiating. Interment will follow at First Baptist Church of TyTy Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 A. M. at the church before the service.
Matthew Brunty, Wesley Brunty, Andrew Crownover, Ashton Crownover, Garrett Chambless, Griffin Collier, Larry Sikes and Justin Wilson will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Crownover was born August 16, 1939 in Tift County to the late Chesley William Sumner and Willie Mae LeSeur Sumner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Scott Crownover who died March 26, 2012. Audrey was a member of the First Baptist Church of TyTy. She was a homemaker and bookkeeper for Crownover Service Company. She enjoyed traveling, bowling, playing cards and gardening, but fishing was her favorite hobby. She loved her family and friends with all her heart.
Mrs. Crownover is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Mike Collier of Warwick; her son and daughter-in-law, John and Teresa Crownover of TyTy; her grandchildren, Matthew Brunty, Wesley Brunty, Elizabeth and Alex Seiferth, Griffin Collier, Lagan and Garrett Chambless, Lindy and Justin Wilson, Andrew Crownover and Ashton Crownover; her great grandchildren, Liam Brunty, Gauge Brunty, Mylee Chambless and John Hilton Chambless.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church of TyTy, PO Box 158, TyTy, Ga. 31795 and Hospice of Tift Area, PO Box 747, 618 N. Central Avenue, Tifton, Ga. 31793.
