Mrs. Patricia “Anne” Cook Fletcher, 81, of Tifton, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Tift Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 12, 2023 in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Rev. James Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Harding United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 P.M. at the funeral home before the service.
Alan Pratt, Ronald Cook, Jared Cook, Matthew Crumley, Jeff Fulghum and Mike Crumley will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Harborview Staff and Irwin EMC Employees.
Mrs. Fletcher was born January 10, 1942 in Tift County to the late Earl Wade Cook and Myrtis Ruth Turner Cook. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her sister, Lana Cook Pratt. Mrs. Fletcher was a member of Harding United Methodist Church where she was very active serving as Treasurer. She was a graduate of Tift County High School and Andrew College. She was retired from Irwin EMC as supervisor of Accounting for forty years. Mrs. Fletcher loved her family and her Harborview family. She enjoyed gospel music, reading, bingo games and family time at Dooly County Methodist Campground.
Mrs. Fletcher is survived by her husband, James Kenneth Fletcher; her son, James Timothy Fletcher; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Earl and Joyce Cook and Mitchell “Skeeter” and Teresa Cook; her sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Mike Collins; her brother-in-law, Lewis Wayne Pratt and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will be gathering at Peggy Collins house.
