Alexis Skye West

Miss Alexis Skye West, 15, of Ocilla passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2019 in Cook County.

A Memorial service will be held Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Elder Tommy McGee officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 PM before the service at the funeral home. A private interment will be held at a later date.

Miss West was born August 1, 2004 in Tift County to Dana Shawn West and Ashley Lyn Wise O’Neal. Before moving to Lexington, South Carolina for two years, she had lived most of her life in Tift County. Alexis was about to enter into the 10th grade at Tift County High School. She loved animals, volleyball, and riding horses. Alexis was vivacious and very outspoken. She was full of energy and lived life at a hundred miles an hour.

Miss West is survived by her Father, Dana Shawn West, her Mother, Ashley Lyn Wise O’Neal and step-father, Toby Alton O’Neal of Ocilla; two sisters Madison West of Ocilla and Serenity O’Neal of Leesville, South Carolina; three brothers Zachary Hutto, Devin West both of Ocilla and Alex Ellis of Tifton; maternal grandparents, Tracy and Stephen McGee of Hahira and Earl Wise of Tifton; paternal grandparents, William and Robin Hudson of Ocilla; step grandmother Pamela Cox of Ocilla.

Albritton Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
