Ada Jane (Smith) Cross

Mrs. Ada Jane Smith Cross, 100, of Brooksville, Florida formerly of Tifton passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at.

Funeral service will be held Monday, December 6, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with the interment following in New Bethel Church Cemetery in Ben Hill County.

Mrs. Cross was born February 14, 1921 in Osierfield, Georgia to the late James Monroe Smith and Annie Hudson Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Jose Soares Cross who died 1975 and her daughters, Mary Jo Cross and Francisco Jane Hampton Cobyle.She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church in BenHill County. Mrs. Cross was a homemaker and a nurse’s aide.

Mrs. Cross is survived by her daughter, Reacy Elizabeth Hubbard of New Port Richey, Florida. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
