Allen Darrell Ball

Mr. Allen Darrell Ball, 65, of Tifton passed away Saturday, January 30, 2021 at his residence.

A Graveside committal will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, February 5, 2021 in Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. and the Rosary will be held from 2:00 to 2:30 P.M. Friday, February 5, 2021 at Albritton Funeral Directors.

Mr. Ball was born November 19, 1955 in Colquitt County to the late Willie Paul Ball and Eliane Cret Ball. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Lloyd Paul Ball. Mr. Ball was a member of Our Divine Saviour Catholic Church of Tifton and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a retired Hospital Administrator. Mr. Ball graduated from Tift County High School in 1973. Following his graduation, he joined the United States Navy and upon his completion of Naval duty he entered and graduated from Emory University in Atlanta. After his education, he pursed his career in Health Care Administration where he worked for over thirty years. Allen enjoyed playing billiards, riding motorcycles, fishing, boating and woodworking. Allen was a hard-working dedicated man who spent much of his life pursing his career.

Mr. Ball is survived by his son, Jackson Darrell Ball of Jackson; his brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Rena Ball of Leesburg; two sisters, Shirley Ball and Karen Ball both of Tifton; his step-daughter, Carly Dean of Jackson and his former wife of thirteen years, Lorrie Ball of Jackson.
